In a decision dated 10 March 2023, the Montpellier Commercial Court approved the plan to sell Isiman ( previously known as Keyword), which was in receivership, to Metrixware Systemobjects. The financial strength of the buyer and the existing synergies between these two software publishers were supported by employees and customers. For more than 30 years, Metrixware Systemobjects has been present in France and internationally with middleware solutions and tools to address the issues of information system obsolescence, modernization of business processes and applications, and software development productivity. For more than 35 years, Isiman has specialised in business process digitalisation solutions, particularly those related to corporate performance and governance in terms of quality, compliance, security, safety and environmental standards. The integration of the Isiman teams and software suite completes the technological portfolio and know-how of Metrixware Systemobjects and demonstrates its desire to constantly support its customers in all issues related to their mid-range or mainframe information systems. Manuel Engelstein, Isiman product manager, joins the Metrixware Systemobjects management committee and becomes its Chief Technology Officer. Metrixware Systemobjects has also taken over the portfolio of Isiman customers with a dozen long-term contracts, strategic to support the growth and strong ambition of the company. The Isiman technology base is first and foremost a “low-code” tool for digitising the business processes of players in the finance, insurance, mutual insurance, industry, luxury goods, logistics and public administration sectors. Based on Java and Eclipse, it is certified for DB2, PostgreSQL, Oracle and SQL Server databases and can be deployed “On-Premises” or in the Cloud on application servers such as IBM WebSphere or Apache Tomcat, in IBM i, Linux, AIX or Windows environments. Built on this extensible technical foundation, the Isiman software suite offers numerous standard components that are customisable, easy to use and quick to deploy, such as RGPD, Risk and Compliance Management in ISO 9001, ISO 27001 or related to Security and Finance laws such as Basel III. These components are deployed for clients with strong performance and management needs for their most critical activities: fraud detection, anomaly tracking, pollution analysis, process audit, etc. Metrixware Systemobjects has a global and coherent offer of tools in line with the ambitions of its 2022 – 2027 plan:
- Mainframe Integrator Suite for CONNECTIVITY between an old Information System and new needs and uses
- Cobos and Delphi/400 for the PRODUCTIVITY of the necessary developments on ageing business processes and Information Systems
- Rapid for the URBANISATION of an Information System hit by obsolescence or technical debts
- Isiman for the GOVERNANCE of the Information System: Performance, Compliance, Quality, Risk Management
